Advanced Power and Thermal Research Lab (APTRL) ZHCx worked with Messer Construction to complete this 23 million dollar lab renovation project. The commissioning process helped to avoid rework and delays on a complex mechanical system.
William E. Durr Branch ZH Commissioning led the retro commissioning process for the Durr Branch of the Kenton County Libraries. This successful project has lowered the energy costs of the facility 32% and maintenance costs by roughly 75%. compared to our baseline year.
ZHCx has worked with Grant County Public Libraries since 2013 in an effort to lower both maintenance and energy costs. While serving as energy manager, ZHCx has been able to lower overall yearly expenditures by optimizing HVAC system operation and control. Savings from that effort helped to pay for an all-inclusive LED lighting upgrade in 2015.
Natural Science Center ZHCx performed Retro-commissioning services on the Dorothy Westerman Herrmann Natural Science Center. This building contains approximately 115 hoods controlled by Phoenix Controls. ZHCx investigated the various systems in the building in order to identify and mitigate the negative pressure condition that has occurred in the past, and prevent the condition from occurring in the future.
